HOW DO I FILE A THEFT BENEFIT CLAIM?

Replacement Benefit

In the event that the Vehicle Theft Protection System fails and the Covered Vehicle is stolen and not recovered within thirty (30) days, or is recovered and declared a Total Loss due to the theft, the benefits specified in SECTION 5 – WARRANTY INFORMATION (as selected by you) and SECTION 8 – ADDITIONAL BENEFITS will apply. The full benefit amount will be paid directly to the Authorized Dealer to be applied toward the purchase of a new vehicle.

This coverage is limited to a Replacement Benefit that does not exceed the Actual Cash Value of the Covered Vehicle as of the Date of Loss, with appropriate adjustments for mileage and/or optional equipment as determined by the region-specific NADA Official Used Car Guide, whichever is greater.

To qualify for this benefit, you must purchase a replacement vehicle from the Authorized Dealer within thirty (30) days of receiving the settlement check from your physical damage insurance company. If you do not have physical damage insurance, you must purchase a replacement vehicle from the Authorized Dealer within sixty (60) days of the Date of Loss.

Claim Procedures

To file a claim under this Warranty, you must provide the Administrator with a clear and legible copy of the following documents:

For Insured Vehicles:

  • Police report and recovery report
  • Insurance settlement check
  • Your comprehensive insurance policy
  • The Warranty Registration Page

For Uninsured Vehicles:

  • Police report
  • The Warranty Registration Page

If your vehicle is uninsured and reported stolen, it will be considered a total loss if the police confirm it has not been recovered within thirty (30) days. In the absence of primary insurance, the Actual Cash Value will be determined using the NADA retail value as of the date of loss. If your uninsured vehicle is stolen, recovered, and deemed damaged beyond repair by an independent appraiser, it will also be considered a total loss.

No deductible is required for this policy in the event of a claim.
