MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS

To maintain your coverage, perform routine maintenance as specified in your Ride for Life Protection Certificate agreement. You have the flexibility to choose any repair facility for doing your maintenance on your motorcycle outside of a 100 mile radius of the selling dealership of the contract. If you opt for maintenance outside of your selling dealership, please notify the program administrator in advance.

The Ride for Life Protection Certificate is a no-cost, lifetime limited powertrain contract provided by participating dealerships. It covers specific mechanical components of your powersport vehicle, ensuring peace of mind for as long as you own the vehicle..

The certificate applies to motorcycles, EV motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, scooters, snowmobiles, personal watercraft (PWC), and jetboats purchased from authorized dealerships. The vehicle must meet the model year guidelines at time of contract purchase.

Exclusions include, but are not limited to:

  • Routine maintenance items (e.g., oil changes, tires, brake pads)
  • Wear-and-tear items
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or lack of maintenance
  • Modifications not recommended by the manufacturer
Refer to the warranty terms for a complete list of exclusions.

Reimbursement amounts for replacement parts or components may be based on new, non-OEM, remanufactured, or used parts at the administrator’s discretion. Repair costs will be covered after deductibles are paid.

No, the Ride for Life Protection Certificate is non-transferable and applies only to the original owner.

You must follow the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule at the issuing dealership. Keep all service records as proof of compliance. If you are outside of 100 miles of the issuing dealership, you can use any repair facility of your choosing. You must provide proof of maintenance if asked, showing you are adhering to the OEM published maintenance schedule.

Failure to perform required maintenance as outlined in your owner’s manual and warranty terms may void your coverage.

All repair orders and documentation must be submitted to the administrator within 30 days of repair completion to be eligible for reimbursement.

If you disagree with a claim denial, contact the administrator to review the decision. Ensure you have complied with all maintenance and claim filing requirements to avoid potential issues.

You can reach the administrator during business hours:

There is no limit on the number of claims you can file; however, the total benefits paid cannot exceed the vehicle's actual cash value immediately before the breakdown.

For EV motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and scooters, the warranty covers the electronic rotor assembly, stator assembly, motor controller, alternator, and other critical components. Fluids, seals, and gaskets are included only when necessary for a covered repair.

Contact the administrator for guidance on repair options and alternate service locations in such cases.

No, the Ride for Life Protection Certificate is provided at no additional cost with the purchase of your vehicle and is non-cancellable. Refunds are not applicable since the warranty is not purchased separately.

The Ride for Life Warranty is non-transferable and only applies to the original owner. If your vehicle is totaled or sold, the warranty coverage ends.

Tampering with the odometer or hour meter may void your warranty. Accurate readings are necessary to validate coverage and comply with maintenance schedules.

Repairs must use parts compatible with the manufacturer’s specifications. Aftermarket modifications or incompatible parts may void your warranty.

No, the Ride for Life Protection Certificate does not cover pre-existing conditions or breakdowns caused by prior damage before the warranty became active.

Diagnostic fees are only covered if the repair is approved under the Ride for Life Protection Certificate. If the repair is not covered, you will be responsible for the diagnostic costs.

To keep your Ride for Life Protection Certificate active, follow these steps:

  • Perform all scheduled maintenance at the issuing dealership.

If service is performed at the issuing dealership, the service department will handle notifying the administrator on your behalf.
